Job Title: Instrumentation and Controls Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Controls Designer to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our Water Division, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities and pumping stations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support control system engineering and automation designs within multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop construction documents, including drawings and technical specifications
  • Assist in the review of contractor submittals and support equipment and control system inspections
  • Participate in field data-gathering and equipment assessment assignments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Co-op/internship experience preferred with 0-3 years of experience in instrumentation and controls
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam or prepared to take the exam within one year of employment
