We are seeking a committed individual to support the Director of Housekeeping in managing and executing housekeeping services, ensuring a pristine environment and high levels of resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in organizing and staffing schedules to guarantee the cleanliness of workspaces, communal areas, and living quarters.
  • Utilize cleaning agents safely and correctly in line with departmental protocols, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations, including MSDS, OSHA, and EPA standards.
  • Support the planning and execution of the annual deep cleaning initiative.
  • Coordinate the readiness of apartments for new residents.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of offices, shared spaces, guest rooms, and residential units.
  • Oversee inventory management for all cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Report any resident concerns or issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Assist in the development and oversight of the housekeeping department's budget.
  • Promote energy conservation practices within the department.
Qualifications:

Educational Background: A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Proficiency: Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Personal Qualities: A collaborative team player with a positive outlook.

Additional Information:

The annual salary for this position is $55,000. Breakers at Edgewater Beach offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible team members, which includes health, dental, vision, retirement plans, short-term and long-term disability, as well as paid time off. All positions at Breakers at Edgewater Beach are eligible for DailyPay, an application that allows access to earned but unpaid wages prior to the next payday. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required for all employees, unless exempt for medical, religious, or personal reasons. Government regulations or exemptions may apply.
