Northrop Grumman is currently in search of a Level 4 Senior Financial Analyst to provide essential support to our Aerospace Structures division, located in a hybrid work environment.

As a Financial Analyst within our Aerospace Structures team, your responsibilities will include supporting our Accounting and Compliance division. This role will require close collaboration with management, operational leaders, internal stakeholders, and other sites within the Aerospace Structures Business Unit.

Your contributions will encompass:

  • Preparing and analyzing financial reports while effectively communicating insights to management.
  • Acting as the primary liaison to governmental entities.
  • Interpreting federal, state, and other regulations relevant to financial processes and practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures in alignment with applicable statutes and regulations.
  • Investigating and resolving compliance inquiries or issues raised by various units, customers, or regulatory agencies.
  • Identifying and recommending improvements in business processes and compliance concerns.
  • Preparing, analyzing, and reporting on monthly expenditures.
  • Conducting variance analysis against forecasts.
  • Providing ad hoc support for governmental requests.
  • Offering compliance guidance to internal stakeholders.

Experience Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess exposure to and a willingness to deepen their knowledge in:

  • Financial Reporting
  • Financial Analysis
  • Incurred Cost Submissions
  • Forward Pricing Rate Proposals
  • Business System Audits
  • Financial and Accounting Principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Skills in planning and forecasting.
  • Experience in accounting and compliance.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with U.S. Government regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
  • This position necessitates the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance as required by business needs.

Relevant experience in Government Auditing (FAR/DFAR) should be clearly outlined in your resume.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Aerospace Defense sector.
  • Familiarity with DCAA audit processes or government compliance auditing.
  • Experience in reviewing incurred costs for compliance with policies.
  • Understanding of government regulations, including CAS, FAR, and DFARS.
  • A proactive individual eager to expand their skill set.
  • Ability to learn additional software applications, including internal budgeting tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capacity to work independently.
  • Initiative, adaptability, and a strong motivation for excellence.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,400. This range serves as a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining salary offers, including the role's scope, responsibilities, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
