Position Overview:

Northrop Grumman is currently in search of a Level 3 or Level 4 Financial Analyst to support our Aerospace Structures team at our Clearfield, UT location, with options for partial telework. The selected candidate will be expected to engage in on-site activities in Clearfield, Utah a few days each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial documentation, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Act as the primary liaison to governmental agencies, including DCAA and DCMA.
  • Interpret federal, state, and other regulations relevant to financial processes and products.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, addressing any compliance issues or inquiries from various stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for business process enhancements and compliance improvements.
  • Conduct monthly expense analysis and variance reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc support for governmental inquiries.
  • Offer compliance guidance to internal stakeholders.

Experience Requirements:

Candidates should possess knowledge and a willingness to expand their expertise in the following areas:

  • Incurred Cost Submissions
  • Forward Pricing Rate Proposals
  • Business System Audits
  • Financial and Accounting Principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Basic Qualifications for Principal Financial Analyst:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Skills in planning and forecasting.
  • Experience in accounting and compliance.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with U.S. Government regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance and Program Special access as required.

Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Financial Analyst:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Skills in planning and forecasting.
  • Experience in accounting and compliance.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience with U.S. Government regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Aerospace Defense.
  • Familiarity with DCAA audit processes or government compliance auditing.
  • Experience in reviewing incurred costs for compliance with policies.
  • Understanding of government regulations, including CAS, FAR, and DFARS.
  • A proactive individual eager to enhance their skill set.
  • Ability to learn new software applications, including budgeting and planning tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration across all organizational levels.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
