Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beef Shoppe Manager to join our team at Lowes Foods. As a key member of our meat and seafood department, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining high-quality products, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions to all guests, creating a welcoming and selling environment through effective selling skills.
  • Sales and Profitability: Achieve budgeted sales, supply, shrink, and gross profits for the Beef Shoppe and seafood departments, ensuring optimal inventory levels and supply chain management.
  • Product Preparation and Presentation: Prepare products for sale according to Lowes Foods standards, maintaining high-quality and freshness, and ensuring all products are in date.
  • Department Operations: Maintain safety and sanitation standards in all areas, including prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, orientation, training, and feedback to the Beef Shoppe and seafood department staff, ensuring satisfactory performance standards and guest interaction.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain the department's labor budget and ensure optimal hours are scheduled to maximize sales and guest service.
Requirements
  • Interpersonal and Selling Skills: Possess good interpersonal skills, effective selling skills, and an outgoing personality.
  • Teamwork and Supervision: Ability to work well with others, supervise people, including training and development, and demonstrate ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. constantly, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time, and work in a cold environment.
  • Education and Experience: Must be at least 18 years old and have relevant experience in the meat and seafood industry.
