About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant Professional to join our team at Midtown Health Center Inc.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

This is a full-time position that requires the candidate to work in a fast-paced medical office environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering medications and vaccines accurately and documenting in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Managing the agency's medication inventory, including supply management, disbursement, distribution, use, and destruction
  • Examining incoming shipments to verify receipt of correct types and quantity of supplies and materials
  • Processing and storing items at designated locations accurately
  • Maintaining records of supplies and materials
  • Serving as the Vaccine for Children program coordinator, including vaccine monitoring, ordering, and inventory control
  • Providing clinical services, including verifying patient information, supporting patient care delivery, and assisting with examinations and laboratory tests
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Medication Aide Certification
  • At least two years of experience in a medical office or related field
  • A current certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to utilize your own transportation for work purposes
