Job Summary:

BRIA is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a long-term care setting. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and improving the respiratory health of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic tests to determine the respiratory conditions of residents and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive respiratory care plans for residents.
  • Provide therapy to improve the respiratory conditions of residents, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and other interventions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification for the State of Illinois.
  • Knowledge of physiology and the respiratory system.
  • Empathy and compassion for patients and families.
  • At least one year of experience in long-term care, preferably in a nursing home setting.
