Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Piping/Plumbing Engineer I to join our Chapel Hill office and contribute to our mission of delivering sustainable and energy-efficient solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform load calculations and determine system sizing and layouts
- Calculate equipment sizes and select equipment
- Complete field surveys and review equipment shop drawings
- Participate in project meetings with clients and other consultants
- Support construction-phase work and lead piping/plumbing project teams
Qualifications
- BSME/BSAE from an ABET-accredited school
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Non-academic internship experience
- Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations preferred
- EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) a plus
- Internship experience in the MEP consulting engineering field preferred
