About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer I to join our team at Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in our Chapel Hill office. As an Electrical Engineer I, you will play a key role in empowering our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions and create a better, greener future for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform load calculations and determine system sizing and layouts
  • Calculate equipment sizes and select equipment
  • Complete field surveys and review equipment shop drawings
  • Work with experienced engineers and mentor designers
  • Participate in project meetings with clients and other consultants
Requirements
  • BSEE/BSAE from an ABET-accredited school
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Non-academic internship experience
  • Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations preferred
  • EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) a plus
