We are currently in search of a dedicated and skilled Unemployment Claims Analyst to become a vital part of our innovative team.

This position entails the meticulous processing of unemployment claims on behalf of our clientele, ensuring precision and adherence to all applicable regulations.

A key responsibility of this role is to effectively gather essential information from clients to successfully contest and appeal unemployment claims in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate robust analytical capabilities, outstanding communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of unemployment insurance protocols.

They should exhibit a keen attention to detail, while also being adept at interacting, coordinating, and following up with clients, senior management, and third-party administrators.

Candidates must be self-motivated and capable of thriving as remote employees within a distributed team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Filing appeals for claims that have been granted unemployment benefits due to misconduct-related separation reasons.

• Proactively soliciting necessary documentation from clients to ensure proper filing and contesting of claims.

• Conducting verifications of employment and income for client employees as required.

• Preparing for and representing clients during unemployment hearings (via telephone conference).

• Completing Benefit Audit forms.

• Maintaining accurate and current records on the unemployment claims spreadsheet.

• Compiling monthly reports for management and any additional client reports as needed.

• Effectively managing, prioritizing, and executing the coordination of multiple projects within established timeframes and expectations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Employee Benefits, Claims, or Human Resources.

• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications are preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• A responsive and self-motivated team player.

• Strong action orientation, customer focus, interpersonal skills, ability to deal with ambiguity, time management, and organizational skills.

• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
