To succeed in this role, you will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality food and service to patients and customers. Your responsibilities will include patient tray line (meal assembly), dish room, utilities (floors and trash), and cold food production.
As a Food Service Team Member, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized appearance throughout your shift. You will also be responsible for producing and maintaining quality food and beverage products, preparing attractive and appetizing foods utilizing quality ingredients, and correctly portioning food.
You will be expected to provide quality services to result in customer/patient satisfaction, be knowledgeable about food ingredients and allergens, and address customer complaints in a polite and professional manner. You will also be responsible for merchandising the area, ensuring that all activities meet sanitation, safety, and quality control guidelines set forth by departmental policies.
This role requires the ability to stand for entire shifts and work with cleaning and dishwashing chemicals. You will also be responsible for properly operating, cleaning, and storing equipment in assigned areas, and properly cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces throughout scheduled shifts.
