Job Overview

This position involves critical contributions to the conception and advancement of innovative products, solutions, and systems. Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties
  • Accountable for conducting laboratory and field validation assessments, inspections, and data collection to support the design and validation of products and services, generally not necessitating an engineering degree.
    - Overseeing the design and assembly of testing facilities, test rigs, instrumentation systems, and the creation of testing software.
  • Acquiring comprehensive knowledge in a specific technical area. Leverages previous experience and gained technical proficiency to implement policies and strategies.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of essential business drivers; utilizes this insight to effectively manage personal tasks. Recognizes how the work of their team integrates with other departments and contributes to overall objectives.
  • Employs a level of judgment and has the capacity to suggest alternative solutions beyond standard parameters, albeit with guidance. Utilizes prior experience and on-the-job training to address straightforward challenges. Accesses technical expertise and analytical thinking necessary for problem-solving, often consulting multiple internal resources beyond their immediate team.
  • This role is likely to be filled by an individual contributor with established interpersonal skills or an emerging leader capable of recruiting and nurturing talent. Provides informal mentorship to new team members.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering.
