Join the School Nutrition Association as a State Policy Analyst and play a critical role in shaping the future of school nutrition. As a key member of our Government Affairs team, you will be responsible for analyzing and advocating for policies that benefit our members and the students they serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze state legislative and regulatory initiatives to identify opportunities and challenges for SNA members.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with state legislators, regulators, and other key stakeholders to advance SNA's policy agenda.
  • Recommend and implement effective advocacy strategies to support SNA's policy positions.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to SNA leadership and members on state legislative and regulatory issues.
  • Collaborate with other SNA teams to develop and implement comprehensive advocacy campaigns.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in government relations, advocacy, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of state legislative and regulatory processes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
