Job Summary

The Quality Inn in Grand Chute, WI, is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee the hotel's daily financial operations. This role involves preparing a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, posting room charges and taxes to guest accounts, and maintaining files and resetting systems for next day operations.

Responsibilities
  • Verify reservation information and greet, assist, and register guests upon arrival into the computer system.
  • Respond to guest needs, special requests, and complaints, communicating all guest needs to the next shift.
  • Verify that all charges are assigned to the appropriate departments/guest accounts.
  • Print and file reservations for the next business day.
  • Prepare daily reports as required by management.
  • Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
  • Prepare End of Day procedure.
  • Balance the day's charges, making any corrections as necessary.
  • Input revenue, expenses, and allowances into the PC to generate daily reports.
  • Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for next day operations.
Requirements

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
