Plant Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Plant Operator to join our team at Airgas. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our dry ice production facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Load and package dry ice on a daily basis, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Clean and maintain the production area, including sweeping, washing, painting, and trash removal.
- Perform other duties as required, including assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and write, and understand and follow supervisor direction.
- Physical ability to lift and manipulate dry ice blocks weighing up to 60 pounds.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and CO2 vapor. Shift work is required, and the ability to work safely in a noisy environment is essential.
