Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Scrap Metal Worker to join our team at Bud's Wrecking. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for stripping car parts, draining fluids, crushing vehicles into scrap, and hauling the scrap to the recycling plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strip car parts and prepare vehicles for crushing.
  • Safely drain fluids from vehicles, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Operate machinery to crush vehicles into scrap metal.
  • Haul scrap metal to the recycling plant.
  • Keep your work area clean and organized.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an auto mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of vehicle systems.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery and tools.
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Valid driver's license.
