Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team at Upstate University Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic procedures and carrying out related functions pertaining to PET/CT examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Radiologists, Physicists, and Radiation Safety to ensure all equipment, policies, and procedures adhere to ACR standards, manufacturers' recommendations, and NYS Radiation Safety Guidelines.

Requirements:

AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license/registration in Nuclear Medicine (must obtain within 6 months of limited permit), and Registered with Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (must obtain within 1 year of appointment). One year of experience as a radiologic technologist, plus current CPR-BLS certification required by time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

BS in Nuclear Medicine Technology, NYS License/Registration in Nuclear Medicine, and Registered with Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive technical experience required.

Work Schedule:

40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, with specific hours to be determined. Will be required to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. Overtime may be required based on departmental needs.
