Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. This role requires strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Review patient information, chart, physician order, and previous films to ensure the best possible scan plan
  • Comply with all patient, staff, and equipment safety policies
  • Manage overtime and flex hours
  • Organize workflow to prevent delays and control costs through appropriate use of supplies
  • Comply with annual review and IV and contrast injection guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered by ARRT and licensed as required by the state in which the facility is located
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
