Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. This will involve reviewing patient information, charting, physician orders, and previous films to ensure the best possible scan plan. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing overtime, flex hours, and organizing workflow to prevent delays and control costs.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Review patient information, charting, physician orders, and previous films to ensure the best possible scan plan
  • Manage overtime, flex hours, and organize workflow to prevent delays and control costs
  • Comply with all patient, staff, and equipment safety policies
  • Keep abreast of changes in radiology by attending classes and continuing education provided
  • Possess strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy
  • Serve patient population categories of infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered by ARRT and licensed as required by the state in which the facility is located
  • Keep abreast of changes in radiology by attending classes and continuing education provided
  • Possess strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy
