Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-volume workflow of commercial agreements, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with public sector customers, understanding their needs and requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on contract law, regulatory compliance, and risk management to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless contract execution and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing laws, regulations, and industry developments to ensure TransUnion's compliance and competitiveness.

Requirements:

  • JD degree required and 10+ years of experience, with at least 6 years of experience as a practicing attorney (in-house or law firm) focused on negotiating contracts and resolving disputes with U.S. federal, state, municipal, and educational institutions.
  • Comprehensive expertise of the FAR, DFARS, and other agency FAR-supplements, with experience interpreting them.
  • Preferred experience includes contracting on behalf of a commercial contractor providing multiple products and services under multiple contracts to the government.
  • Preferred familiarity with the process of responding to solicitations and understanding various contract structures, including schedule contracts, firm fixed price contracts, time and materials contracts, prime contracts, and subcontracts.
  • Preferred experience includes working at an information services company, advising clients on data and technology licensing agreements in a regulated environment, and a strong regulatory compliance background.
