Job Summary

Noblis is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer/Systems Administrator to join our team in Bridgeport, WV. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying, migrating, and maintaining solutions in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and technical support in areas of design, development, engineering, research, evaluation, deployment, integration, and maintenance of software and systems.
  • Lead software deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct design and code reviews, participate in daily scrums, retrospective, and other agile ceremonies.
  • Coordinate with the development team to support QA/QC and troubleshooting activities.
  • Provide assistance monitoring and resolving issues with deployed systems.
Requirements
  • Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor of Science in Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science (or related field) and a minimum of 8 years of related experience OR Master's Degree in Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science (or related field) with 5+ years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: Linux system administration, database management, DevOps, software development and engineering, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Hands-on experience of a broad range of technology systems and ability to work with: cloud service providers, microservice architectures, software platforms and frameworks, monolithic and hybrid architectures, databases, programming languages, continuous integration and deployment systems, orchestration platforms, and revision control systems.
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian products: Jira and Confluence.
  • Working knowledge of Agile software development frameworks (Scrum and SAFe).
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with law enforcement clients.
  • Experience installing and/or maintaining an Openstack environment.
  • Ability to complement our existing team, solve problems, and work in an agile and cross-functional team environment.
  • Self-management skills, strong self-organization, and eagerness to contribute.
  • Ability to work with teams across geographic bounds.
