Job Title: DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring our infrastructure, as well as collaborating with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a secure, scalable, and robust infrastructure
  • Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Develop and implement new product features and automate scripts
  • Work closely with the development team to integrate new deployment processes and strategies
  • Manage all aspects of the CI/CD process and monitor metrics to improve
  • Provide technical guidance and education to team members and coworkers
  • Brainstorm new ideas to improve development delivery
  • Handle code deployments in all environments
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes
  • Implement automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, and monitoring
  • Utilize a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the process and ensure end-to-end quality across functions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, software engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles
  • Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, VPCs
  • Proven proficiency in Python scripting
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools, specifically Terraform
  • Solid experience in managing containers and micro-services using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages
  • Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong attention to detail, with a can-do attitude
  • Self-starter who can move projects forward by filling in the gaps on agile teams
  • Strong team collaboration skills
  • Continual learner who stays updated on the latest trends in the technology industry
