Job Overview

Position Summary

In the role of Cash Management Analyst at The Heritage Group, you will engage in a variety of tasks within the Corporate Treasury department. This position involves managing daily cash operations and conducting monthly analytical reporting, while also contributing to various Corporate Treasury projects.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Engage in daily treasury functions, including executing electronic fund transfers through a Treasury Management System (TMS) and/or banking platforms, processing check deposits, and reviewing banking transactions.
  • Conduct detailed monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring completion within established timelines.
  • Assist in Corporate Treasury initiatives and projects in partnership with Treasury leadership, THG's operating divisions, and Corporate Finance.
  • Generate and maintain reports related to short-term cash flow forecasting and other ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Import and review bank account analysis statements to identify discrepancies, report findings, and suggest improvements to minimize banking fees for Treasury leadership.
  • Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of treasury operations and protocols.
  • Perform additional Corporate Treasury-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience is required.
  • 0-3 years of experience in Treasury, Finance, or Banking sectors.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and open to taking on additional responsibilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively interact with management, business units, financial institution representatives, and auditors.
  • Proficiency in specialized banking systems, TMS, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
