Cummins Inc. is seeking a proficient Lead Risk Management Analyst to enhance their Finance division, focusing on the Corporate/CBS sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with captive administrators, actuaries, and consultants to deliver technical insights and assistance regarding financial transactions and claims for the captive and risk management unit.
  • Offer analytical support for both domestic and international insurance initiatives, encompassing Property, Marine, General Liability, Professional Liability, Crime, Auto, Products Liability, and Employers Liability.
  • Generate complex and interpretative financial analyses and reports.
  • Oversee captive financial components, including the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements, investment management, tax obligations, and service level agreements for captives.
  • Track renewal advancements and premium allocations by line in conjunction with Global Risk Managers.
  • Execute cash management tasks, including the approval of payments.
  • Facilitate the collection and examination of data by coverage line to support actuarial loss assessments for policy renewals and budget planning.
  • Engage in regular claims evaluation and analysis, which includes monthly reporting for captive insurance entities, quarterly reviews of significant claims with the Claims team, and interactions with third-party claims administrators.
  • Conduct analyses and oversight of substantial property and casualty claims; perform trend analysis and monitoring of claims.
  • Organize and lead captive meetings, which include the annual Board of Directors meeting, quarterly Advisory Committee sessions, and quarterly financial reviews.
  • Manage financial dealings of acquired group captive insurance programs and run-off insurance initiatives; supervise internal communications and track the performance of third-party captive administrators.
