Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Pioneer Data Systems is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Kalamazoo, MI. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing local stakeholder relationships, supplier performance, and sourcing and contracting execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with local teams to understand their procurement needs and requirements
  • Support and resolve stakeholder day-to-day procurement process questions
  • Engage in key internal and external stakeholder discussions
  • Contribute to implementing sourcing strategies that support business objectives
  • Support sourcing strategies that align with company goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement
  • Experience in presenting supplier perspective to internal teams
  • Experience in monitoring supplier performance, tracking metrics, quality, and compliance
  • Experience in conducting market research to identify potential suppliers
  • Experience in maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Capital and Indirect Procurement Sourcing and Contracting experience
  • Basic knowledge of the supplier landscape, including payroll, benefits, recruiting, and staffing
  • Basic knowledge of procurement practices and supplier evaluation methodologies
