Job Summary:

As a CT Radiology Technologist at Atrium Health, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans and assisting radiologists/physician assistants during invasive procedures. You will also be responsible for preparing patients for exams, administering contrast material, and maintaining accurate records. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans and assist radiologists/physician assistants during invasive procedures
• Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and obtaining medical history
• Administer contrast material according to departmental protocols
• Maintain accurate records, including patient information and exam results
• Collaborate with radiologists/physician assistants to ensure accurate and timely exam results
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures
• Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with industry advancements and best practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Registered by the ARRT (R)
• Advanced registry in CT, ARRT (CT)
• 2 years' experience required
