Job Summary


Atrium Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a CT Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all duties associated with the acquisition, processing, and submission of CT images, as well as providing exceptional patient care.


Key Responsibilities


  • Position patients and formulate techniques to demonstrate cross-sectional anatomy of interest based on accepted radiographic principles.
  • Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and confirm their understanding.
  • Review diagnostic imaging requests for appropriateness and communicate with radiologists for final approval.
  • Enter patient and study information into the radiology information system and document billing codes of procedures performed.
  • Assist and communicate with radiologists, working independently outside the department with providers.

Requirements


  • Must be a High School or GED Diploma Graduate.
  • Graduate of AMA, JRC, or Regionally Accredited approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT Registered or Registry eligible through the ARRT.
  • ARRT CT registry required in accordance with Work Instruction EMP 8.
