Job Summary
Atrium Health is seeking a skilled CT Radiology Technologist Part-Time to join our team. As a CT Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all duties associated with acquisition, processing, and archiving of CT images.
Key Responsibilities
- Position patients and formulate techniques to demonstrate cross-sectional anatomy based on accepted radiographic principles.
- Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and confirm their understanding.
- Review diagnostic imaging requests for appropriateness and communicate with radiologists for final approval.
- Enter patient and study information into the radiology information system and document billing codes.
- Assist and consult with radiologists, work independently, and provide guidance to other personnel.
- Maintain all required continuing education and applicable certifications for modality.
Requirements
- High School or GED Diploma Graduate.
- Graduate of AMA, JRC, or Regionally Accredited approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT Registered or Registry eligible through the ARRT.
- ARRT CT registry required.
