Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at SGA Dental Partners. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental office and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care and treatment
  • Prepare and maintain dental equipment and instruments
  • Take and develop radiographs (x-rays)
  • Assist with patient scheduling and record-keeping
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program
  • Dental assisting experience preferred
  • Valid x-ray certificate
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Licenses required for this position must be kept current, valid, and in good standing
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to hear staff on the phone and those who are served in-person, and speak clearly
  • Ability to read memos, computer screens, personnel forms, and clinical and administrative documents
  • High manual dexterity
  • Ability to reach above the shoulder level to work, bend, squat, and sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, and twist/turn
