Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Embassy Dental - Donelson. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide chair-side support to our doctors and hygienists, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provides clinical support to doctors and hygienists, including charting, patient education, and operatory setup and cleanup
  • Manages patient flow to ensure efficient appointments and a positive patient experience
  • Captures and processes X-Rays, enters patient treatment plans, and maintains files at the direction of the dentist
  • Completes sterilization processes for equipment and operatories, and monitors laboratory cases to ensure they are ready for the next day's schedule
Qualifications
  • Dental Assisting Certification in the appropriate state from an accredited school
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Coronal Polishing certification is a plus
  • X-Ray certification, or the ability to acquire in a timely manner
  • Nitrous Oxide certificate preferred
