Dental Hygiene Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at United Dental. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a critical role in promoting oral health and providing preventive dental care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing dental prophylaxis and periodontal treatments such as scaling and root planing.
- Administering local anesthesia and applying dental sealants.
- Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and recommending appropriate oral care products.
- Taking and developing dental x-rays.
- Assisting with dental procedures and patient management as needed.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and advancements in dental hygiene.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in Dental Hygiene.
- Valid state dental hygiene license.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of dental hygiene procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in patient care.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
