We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Executive Director to join our Southern California region in our Los Angeles office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and ensuring the effective execution of program, project, or construction management services on large, complex, and high-risk projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide top-level oversight and direction to Construction Project Management teams through all phases of the projects.
- Ensure project operations responsibilities are executed in accordance with company project management procedures and policies.
- Plan, direct, and be accountable for the achievement of project revenue and profit objectives and effective management of overhead costs.
- Maintain and ensure client satisfaction and effectively resolve complaints when necessary to secure repeat business.
- Participate in preparation and negotiation of owner contracts and ensure delivery and adherence to contractual requirements.
- Oversee preparation and maintenance of project budget, construction schedule, and master project schedule.
- Implement and maintain effective systems of communication within and outside the project to ensure constructive relationships and the adequate flow of information.
- Maintain high-quality standards, understand key process issues, and ensure implementation of process improvements for all work on the project.
- Identify and manage risk on the project, and advise and confer with regional executive prior to implementing risk mitigation actions.
- Provide strategy development and substantially lead and contribute to business development efforts for our Los Angeles office and assigned projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience is required.
- 15 years of Owner's Representative, Construction, and Project Management experience in a leadership capacity required (public sector preferred).
- 8 years of experience on Division of State Architect (DSA) construction projects in California (either K-12 or Higher Education) is preferred.
- 5 years of leading teams of 5 or greater is required.
- Existing network of clients/owners from Public Agencies and the Education Markets is highly desired.
- Management of multiple delivery methods preferred (Design-Build, Design Bid-build, CM Multi-Prime, CM at Risk).

We offer a competitive salary range of $210,000 - $230,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
