Position: Senior Backend Software Engineer - Monetization

Location: Austin, TX

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of solutions for intricate problem domains within the team.
  • Offer guidance on system architecture and design, ensuring both scalability and reliability.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Analysts, and Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Mentor and support the growth of team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Investigate and prototype new technologies to promote innovation.
  • Take initiative and propel projects forward, working independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development.
  • 3+ years of experience in architecture and design contributions.
  • Proficiency in software development, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to our technology stack, including Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, NumPy, Pandas) and React.
  • Extensive experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Familiarity with AWS and database systems is advantageous.
  • A proven track record of delivering significant value to customers efficiently, with an emphasis on regular feedback and continuous improvement.
  • A strong commitment to software engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, and documentation.
