Position: Senior Packaging Development Engineer

Location: Orlando, Florida

Compensation: Dependent on Experience

Are you driven by the latest advancements in technology and semiconductor integration? We are looking for a Senior Packaging Development Engineer to become a vital part of our innovative team. Our organization is dedicated to pioneering new solutions and redefining industry standards.

Your Role: Innovating RF Solutions As a key contributor, you will be responsible for the design and simulation of RF/mw/mmw transceiver components. You will orchestrate a collaborative effort among various electronic elements, ensuring optimal performance of high-speed signals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish advanced packaging specifications.
  • Identify and validate cutting-edge packaging technologies, materials, and surface mount techniques.
  • Design integrated circuit packages and oversee their assembly processes.
  • Conduct reliability assessments and failure analysis of packaging.
  • Facilitate production scaling and process enhancements.
  • Work closely with subcontractors and manage external supplier relationships.
  • Engage with foundries and OSATs to transition packaging concepts into mass production.
  • Experience with RF packaging is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, specializing in electronic or microelectronic disciplines.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in advanced integrated circuit packaging.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective business partnerships.
  • Comprehensive understanding of packaging technologies, assembly methods, IC materials, reliability standards, and failure analysis practices.
  • Professional experience in project management with global partners.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as CST Studio Suite, Ansys HFSS, Ansys Q3D, Ansys SIwave, and Cadence Sigirty is a plus.
