Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, and maintain fire protection sprinkler systems in compliance with industry standards.
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine installation requirements.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble piping components accurately.
  • Work collaboratively with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of sprinkler systems.
  • Conduct tests to verify system functionality and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance to identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctioning components.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all work performed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of four years of experience as a Fire Protection Sprinkler Installer or in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection standards and building codes.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical capability to manage the demands of the role.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure as a Sprinkler Fitter in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Experience in commercial or industrial projects.
  • Additional certifications in fire protection or related fields.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Physical Requirements: The role requires regular use of hands and arms, as well as the ability to lift and move equipment. Candidates should be prepared for physical tasks associated with installation and maintenance duties.
