Responsibilities


The Senior Radiology Supervisor oversees all functions within the Imaging Department (including XRAY, C-Arm, Portable, and Surgery), adheres to physician directives, executes quality procedures, ensures exceptional patient care, maintains competencies, engages in equipment quality control, and completes all necessary documentation while prioritizing radiation safety. Additionally, this role involves coordinating imaging students, participating in departmental initiatives, and managing workflow in collaboration with radiologists, as well as performing other assigned duties.

Flexibility is essential to accommodate varying patient volumes and unexpected departmental needs. Successful collaboration within a team-oriented environment is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise imaging technologists and support staff.
- Maintain 24/7 oversight of XRAY, C-Arm, and Portable imaging functions, staffing, and image quality.
- Manage financial responsibilities related to personnel, supplies, and equipment.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to achieve departmental objectives.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in fulfilling responsibilities.
- Exhibit adaptability in response to unforeseen departmental demands.
- Possess knowledge of Joint Commission and state regulations.

Qualifications:
- State Registered Radiologic Technician.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or instructor status must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- No travel required.
- No prior experience necessary.
