About the Location:
Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis stands tall in the city skyline, seamlessly connected to sports, business, and entertainment venues. Inside, guests can enjoy Mediterranean-inspired cuisine crafted by renowned local chef Gavin Kaysen, along with a wellness floor featuring both indoor and outdoor pools and a Spa focused on rejuvenation through nature.

The Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Minneapolis is seeking a Bartender to enhance our exceptional team.

As a Bartender, you will cater to guest preferences by showcasing extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails, along with insights into preparation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

- Craft and serve a diverse selection of wines, spirits, and cocktails from the menu, ensuring adherence to established recipes and Four Seasons Standards.

- Verify guest orders, including any special requests, using the hotel's point-of-sale system; ensure accuracy by checking completed orders against the original.

- Provide attentive service and take orders from guests seated at the bar, offering engaging and detailed descriptions of each item’s origin, flavor profile, and preparation methods; maintain an in-depth knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty cocktails.

- Anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction, and offer recommendations while responding promptly and effectively to any concerns or requests.

- Accurately process guest checks; handle cash and credit card transactions; properly manage voided checks or complimentary items.

- Adhere to Four Seasons' Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in EmPact.

- Collaborate harmoniously and professionally with colleagues and supervisors.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Serve food items in the bar area as needed. Assist with bar inventory management. Prepare garnishments for beverages.

Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

- Experience: Minimum of two years in bartending or a related field.

- Skills: Proficient in pouring, mixing, and blending a wide variety of wines, spirits, and cocktails. Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
