Position Overview:

Mixologists serve as the face of the bar and play a crucial role in driving profitability. They engage directly with patrons by crafting and serving drink orders. Key responsibilities include preparing the bar, verifying age requirements, processing payments, upselling beverages, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness of bar supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate ownership by efficiently opening and closing the bar.
  • Foster regular clientele by serving beer, wine, and other beverages promptly and courteously, showcasing our Spirit.
  • Ensure proper setup of the bar, including requisitioning and stocking all necessary items such as beer, wine, spirits, and paper products.
  • Maintain stock levels and prepare fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to guarantee product quality.
  • Welcome guests warmly, promote drink orders, and mix, garnish, and present beverages according to standard recipes while practicing prudent portion control.
  • Accurately input orders into the register and create checks for each guest to maintain accountability.
  • Embrace teamwork and uphold cleanliness with Respect.
  • Handle cash transactions, verify charges, and ensure accurate record-keeping to balance all monetary exchanges.
  • Secure all beverages, food, and equipment, and manage cash drops responsibly.
  • Verify the identification of customers consuming alcoholic beverages who appear to be 30 years old and younger, ensuring responsible service in compliance with laws.
  • Maintain sanitation standards in and around the bar area.
  • Exhibit a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
  • Remain composed in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating Courage.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to any concerns, showing Respect.
  • Present a professional appearance and demeanor, embodying Excellence.
  • Collaborate effectively with the venue team.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols during assigned duties.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Arrive punctually in appropriate uniform, ready to work, demonstrating Respect.
  • Report to management before concluding the work shift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and remain comfortable on feet throughout the shift.
  • Mobility is essential; the employee is frequently required to kneel, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects.
  • May need to climb step stools up to 3 feet in height.
  • Must possess the Courage to perform under pressure.
  • Excellence in time management and task prioritization is required.
  • Attention to detail and quality is paramount.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while demonstrating Spirit.
