We are seeking a highly skilled BAS Technician to join our team at KBR Government Solutions. As a key member of our HVAC crew, you will be responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of environmental control systems in various commercial establishments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the HVAC crew, ensuring the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute services.
- Oversee the execution of HVAC mechanical services, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to cost constraints.
- Manage and direct the activities of HVAC mechanics, applying knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipefitting, and structural layout to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Evaluate HVAC service execution for compliance with contracts, design data, schedules, cost budgets, and quality standards, providing updates and advice to the project team.
- Maintain updated short-range look-ahead plans, discussing any deviations with the Superintendent and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Review and monitor the cost and man-hour budget for the installation process, ensuring alignment with financial constraints and project specifications.
- Develop a detailed equipment and tool requirement plan, reviewing and adjusting it in consultation with the Superintendent to meet project needs.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with the project team and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations and address issues promptly.
- Promote and ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards, minimizing risks and ensuring the safety of all crew members.
- Completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience as a BAS Technician managing similar USG projects of size, scope, and complexity, preferably with NRO experience to adequately understand mission needs across the project.
- OEM Certification
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of information and telecommunication management professionals.
- Ability to maximize technical, performance, and operational efficiencies and minimize lifecycle costs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
