As a Buyer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, coordinating the movement of purchased materials and addressing any supply/supplier issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate production requirements aligned with sales forecasts, ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet internal and external demand.
  • Maintain and create new relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and cost-saving measures to fit within the company budget.
  • Review and analyze data to identify areas for improvement, implementing cost-saving initiatives and optimizing supply chain efficiency.
  • Resolve issues related to material defects, invoice discrepancies, and delivery timelines, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing disruptions to production.
  • Operate within an annual budget, maintaining strict control over inventory levels and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Three to five years' experience in the automotive industry or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of payment regulations and fair credit practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity suite and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
