Job Summary:

The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for providing front office support functions, including appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, and answering incoming calls. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greets patients and manages wait times
  • Completes check-in and check-out tasks, including patient demographic verification and insurance verification
  • Collects co-payments and issues receipts
  • Manages cashier box and daily deposits
  • Answers phones and schedules appointments
  • Manages medical records and ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service
  • Beginner level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience with medical office processes
  • 1+ years of related work experience, including data entry
  • Prior experience with EMR computer applications
