**Job Summary:** Assist the Doctor's Assistant with charts, test results, scheduling, and preceding tests and surgery paperwork while providing outstanding patient care and customer service. This position will progress into a doctor's assistant.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Preparing information for surgeries
  • Preparing charts for office hours
  • Scheduling and requesting appointments, x-rays, tests, surgeries, depositions, and prescriptions
  • Processing mail and filing
  • Other duties as assigned
**Requirements:**
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A certificate or degree from an accredited medical secretary program is preferred
  • One year of medical or medical office experience and computer experience in a medical office setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, basic anatomy, and physiology
