NDT Inspector II

Job Responsibilities
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT), visual testing (VT), and penetrant testing (PT) using ultrasonic testing (UT) and/or eddy current testing techniques.
- Conduct tests based on applicable methods and standards.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Generate inspection and test reports to document findings and conclusions.
- Develop and follow work instructions for approved procedures.
- Prepare and generate reports and documentation outlining test results and conclusions.
- Evaluate test and inspection results against designated standards and specifications.
- Participate in customer and quality audits to ensure compliance and quality.
- Maintain instruments and tools according to schedule and ensure a clean and orderly work environment.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team, follow directions, and interact well with colleagues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
- Certifications in NDT Level II in accordance with SNT-TC-1A and/or NAS410 in at least one of the following methods: UT, ET, VT, PT.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection methods.
- Knowledge of and ability to use non-destructive testing methods, including ultrasonic and eddy current testing techniques.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and handle workflow.
- Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to use basic mathematical equations.
- Knowledge of and ability to use basic computer functions.
- Ability to measure and read dimensional tolerance tools and equipment.
- Ability to view details in close range.
