Key Responsibilities- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT), visual testing (VT), and penetrant testing (PT) utilizing ultrasonic testing (UT) and/or eddy current testing techniques.
- Conduct tests based on applicable methods, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections, generating reports and documentation outlining findings and conclusions.
- Develop and/or follow work instructions for approved procedures, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
- Evaluate test and inspection results against designated standards, participating in customer and/or quality audits as needed.
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
- Certifications in NDT Level II in accordance with SNT-TC-1A and/or NAS410 in at least one of the following methods: UT, ET, VT, PT.
- Knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection methods.
- Knowledge of and ability to use non-destructive testing methods, including ultrasonic and eddy current testing techniques.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
