Position Overview


The Educational Support Specialist will operate under the direct guidance of the Principal, contributing to the enhancement of the educational framework within the school and the district. The primary goal is to cultivate an optimal learning atmosphere for the youth in our community.

This role involves assisting educators in a classroom setting to address the varied educational requirements of students. Responsibilities include providing tailored instructional support or facilitating small group sessions as necessary. Additional duties may encompass supervision during cafeteria and playground activities, as well as other responsibilities assigned by the site administrator. The position also entails providing assistance with toileting for students with disabilities.



Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree or a minimum of 48 college credit units. Previous experience in tutoring or as a paraprofessional is advantageous.

All applicants are required to have current TB clearance and fingerprint clearance.
