Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Training and Development Assistant. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of training programs for our employees.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate training locations and schedules for refresher and specialty classes, ensuring seamless delivery of training programs.
  • Present courses during new employee orientation and refresher sessions, ensuring employees meet minimum training requirements and demonstrate competency on the job.
  • Assist in the development of curriculum and preparation of training materials related to staff training and development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, working closely with the training team to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with a developmentally disabled population preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a platform trainer or teaching experience, with a focus on curriculum development.
  • Ability to use Windows-based programs, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to provide effective and interesting instruction to large groups and in one-to-one situations.
