About the Role

Lactalis, a leading dairy company, is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Export team in a full-time position. As a key member of our Import/Export Sales Administration & Customer Service team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Lactalis American Group (LAG) and Lactalis Heritage Dairy (LHD) Export businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong understanding of products, services, and capabilities to effectively manage customer orders.
  • Process orders of US products received from external or internal customers, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Monitor order pricing and adhere to contracted customer pricing, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with Planning/Plant to ensure quantities and delivery dates are respected, ensuring seamless logistics.
  • Coordinate shipment of orders for land and ocean transport from plant to port of delivery, working closely with logistics and freight forwarders.
  • Report critical issues affecting customer service to the Supervisor and/or Assistant Director, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Act as a backup to other Customer Service staff, covering vacations and personal time.
  • Manage bookings and loadings of containers, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Issue export documents, including AMS/APHIS, COO, CoA, Invoice, Packing List, BOL, and SLIs, adhering to regulatory compliance standards.
  • Assist customers with quality-related documentation and issues, providing timely support.
  • Communicate and problem-solve with domestic and overseas stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Meet productivity standards, completing work in a timely manner, and demonstrating commitment to a safe working environment.
  • Travel and/or extended or off-work hours may be required, as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from a College or University.
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft suite (Excel, Word).
  • Valid Driver's License or State Issued ID to register with government agencies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and complex workload.
  • Knowledge of export logistics terminology (INCOTERMS/Ocean shipping Terms).
  • Team player able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make effective autonomous decisions.
  • Basic Math Skills.
Salary

$23.50 per hour
