About the Role

Lactalis USA is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Export team in Buffalo, NY or New York City, NY. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of export orders and providing exceptional customer service to our global clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process export orders for US products received from external or internal customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues that may arise, providing a superior level of customer service.
  • Monitor order pricing and adhere to contracted customer pricing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with planning/plant teams to ensure quantities and delivery dates are respected, and shipments are processed efficiently.
  • Act as a backup to other customer service staff to cover vacations, personal time, and other absences.
  • Manage bookings and loadings of containers, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with export regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a college or university.
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft suite (Excel, Word).
  • Valid driver's license or state-issued ID to register with government agencies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and complex workloads.
  • Knowledge of export logistics terminology (INCOTERMS/Ocean shipping Terms).
  • Team player able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
