Civil Engineering Specialist

STV Incorporated is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic Transportation Group. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of roadway, highway, and transit projects, contributing to innovative infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the roadway design team in the development of 3D models, including alignments, profiles, corridors, and cross-sections using advanced software.
  • Assist in creating detailed construction drawings, plans, and specifications for roadway and transportation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and client communications, ensuring the clear and effective delivery of project information.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements and objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Additional Positive Attributes:
  • EIT/FE certification or progress towards obtaining a PE License.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar civil design software.
  • Familiarity with NJDOT and AASHTO design standards and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of transportation infrastructure design and construction processes.

Compensation Range:
$64,392.00 - $85,392.00

STV Incorporated is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner. The listed pay range is our good-faith salary estimate for this position.
