Structural Engineer

Donan Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Forensic Engineer to join our team in Newark, New Jersey. As a Forensic Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting on-site investigations and producing detailed reports based on your expert findings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert testimony and unbiased conclusions on assigned work.
- Write technical reports providing detailed information on completed projects.
- Communicate with clients to provide timelines and updates.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state applied.
- Active NCEES record.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related disciplines.
- Two-three years of experience in failure analysis, knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction, building codes, design, or related experience.

Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to stand on one's feet for prolonged periods.
- Frequently required to lift and/or move objects weighing 50-100 lbs.
